My interest in face painting began when my husband started a juggling business and we attended many fairs and festivals together. Seeing the opportunity and need for face painting at special events, I bought a set of paints from Arlene's Costume Shop and practiced on my kids.  They loved it!  I've always loved painting woodcrafts, but painting faces is even more fun because you can do it over and over again.  And it brings so much joy to the faces! Before long, I was teaching a class in face painting and doing it at events such as the RIT Juggle-In, Ontario Beach Kite Flight, and various homeschool events in the Rochester area.
